Quick Scan
Drag the icon in the title bar to your Dock's Mail icon. That will attach the file to a new message.
Pages doesn't save to .doc format. You need to save your file as a Pages file and export it to .doc later.
Right-click on images in Safari to add them to iPhoto.

I wanted to send a Pages document via email to my workplace, but didn't know how. I ended up exporting it to my desktop, opening a new message in email, then making it an attachment. How can I do it directly from Pages? (I'm used to seeing a "Send to..." option under the File menu. I didn't see that here.) |

There isn't a ready made way, but like in many apps, you can drag the little file icon in the title bar to your Mail icon on your dock and do it that way. See the image below. And Save first.

I will open a document in Pages, make corrections etc, and then try to save the document by hitting File>Save but what happens is that I have to re-save the file as a copy. What is up with that? Can't I just make changes to a document without having to create 100 different copies??? Is this happening because it's a .doc file that I'm dealing with? |

iWork doesn't work natively in .doc or .docx format. Those formats are Proprietary to Microsoft. Once you save it as a Pages file, you just work on that one as you would normally. You can always Export it as a .doc later if you choose. |

I know that this will most likely be a "Duh" question but I seriously have not been able to figure out how to copy internet pics and import them into my iphoto. It's not like PC Windows. | |

Well, I'm not sure how it works on PCs, but the answer is fairly straightforward. Right-click on the image in Safari and the select Add Image to iPhoto Library from the pop up menu. That's it!
