MacHeist II Promotional Bundle -
11 Apps for $49
Categories: News & Commentary
My First Mac is a promotional partner in the MacHeist bundle sales and we benefit from the clicks from the link at the bottom. MFM doesn't endorse the software in the bundle, but if you were thinking of buying a couple of these apps, this could be a good opportunity.
The way this operates is the MacHeist team gets a bunch of software developers together to sell their wares together for a low group price, donating 25% off the top to charity and kicking back $5 to their promotional partners like My First Mac. It's a win-win for you and the rest of us involved.
The apps in this package are listed below. Some of them may appeal directly to your needs and some may be a nice-to-have. The ones that jump out to me are Snapz Pro X, the long standing king of screen grabs and movies; 1Password, which manages all your passwords strewn about your Mac and on the web; and Pixelmator, which has been getting great reviews as a step between Preview/iMovie and Photoshop for editing images. Pixelmator on it's own goes for $59, so this might be a great way of getting it and spreading some love around.
Important Note: The special ends January 23rd.
Here's the list of apps:
1Password - Keeps track of all web passwords, automates sign-in and guards from identity theft.
CoverSutra - Learn to love your music.
Cha-Ching - Fun and easy to use money manager, with a slick interface that uses advanced functionality built into OS X.
iStopMotion - The easy way to animate your story, one frame at a time.
Awaken - Wake up to your music.
AppZapper - Erase applications and all their related support files.
TaskPaper - Get things done.
CSSEdit - Design beautiful, innovative and fast-loading web sites.
Snapz Pro X - If a picture is worth a thousand words, imagine how priceless a movie would be.
Pixelmator - Image editing for the rest of us.
